The duo Aljaz (the creative one) and Miha (the technical one) are the creators of the Slovenian brand Medenka. Beekeeping plays an important role in Slovenia, with as many as 5 beekeepers per 1000 inhabitants. It is no surprise that Medenka has specialized in developing natural and sustainable products based on the most important local ingredient: honey. The Medenka beeswax crayons contain more honey than any other crayon brand. Medenka is also one of the few manufacturers with EN-71 certification for both beeswax crayons and modeling clay, ensuring they meet the highest safety and quality standards. Moreover, both the products and their packaging are designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible, made from biodegradable and plastic-free materials.
